All In-House Programs at the Library Cancelled Until Further Notice

All in-person events, classes, and public meeting room reservations are cancelled notice and all programming has been moved online until further notice.

Lunch With Books is now offering to live-stream lectures over the Lunch With Books Facebook page and the LWB YouTube Channel. Check the Lunch With Books Facebook events page for more details. Story Time and Toddler Time are now being offered online as well through YouTube and Facebook. 

"Along with federal, state, and local agencies, the Ohio County Public Library has been closely monitoring the evolving situation involving COVID-19," said Director Dottie Thomas. "The safety and well-being of our staff and patrons are our primary concern, and we believe that moving our programming online to promote social distancing is the best way to meet that goal at this time."

We encourage you to frequently check for updates on this evolving public health issue via our website, our smartphone app (OCPL Connect – available on iPhones and Android devices), and our Facebook page.

In the meantime, we invite everyone to explore everything we have to offer on our website, www.ohiocountylibrary.org. The Ohio County Public Library offers remote access to resources for all ages 24/7, including e-books, audiobooks, magazines, video (including movies, TV, concerts, lectures, etc.), music, and streaming tutorials.
