A View of Wheeling, from Down Under

Brad Fitzmaurice, our favorite Aussie, will join us via Zoom from Australia. Brad chose to write his doctoral thesis about the history of His Wheeling. “There’s nothing in my work that most people in Wheeling don’t already know,” says he, “but I could a spin yarn about how an aging, balding bloke from Down Under became interested in Wheeling.” So be it. Join us for an Aussie’s story of Wheeling. Brad Fitzmaurice is a former Councillor and Vice President of the Royal Australian Historical Society. He teaches American history at Sydney University.
