Robert Long Foreman is an award-winning writer with Wheeling roots. He earned a Ph.D. in English with a Creative Writing emphasis at the University of Missouri and now lives in Kansas City. Heavens to Betsy was inspired by the time Robert ran into the street to stop a pug dog from getting smashed to death by a dump truck. The book has been called “a hodgepodge, part anti-memoir, part unlikely hero’s tale, in which Betsy, the little pug who nearly meets her end beneath a dump truck, becomes an eponym for failure, inspiration, origin stories, aging, parenting, sustainability, and more.” www.robertlongforeman.com
