Did you know that the 2004 movie The Polar Express is based on the 1985 children's book of the same name by Chris Van Allsburg, who also served as one of the animated movie's executive producers? The Polar Express was the 1986 Caldecott Medal winner, and reading the story together has become a beloved holiday tradition of families.
