It's December and we're ready to have a BEARY MERRY CHRISTMAS! Join us for some holiday Story Time fun.
Story Time programs introduce young children to books, rhymes, songs, crafts, and other fun activities. Library Story Time incorporates the early literacy skills that children must master before they can learn to read. Story Times are designed for children 3-5 years old, though all ages are welcome. The program lasts approximately 45 minutes and caregivers are asked to participate with their children. Story Time is held in the Children's Department. This fall, Story Time will also be broadcast online, live, on Tuesdays at 10 am (see below for details).

Today's Story Time: For this Berry Merry Story Time, we will read The Three Bears' Christmas and make a moveable bear cub craft.
Today's Book: The Three Bears's Christmas by Kathy Duval ; illustrated by Paul Meisel.
Book Synopsis: After taking a walk on Christmas Eve while their freshly baked gingerbread cools, Papa, Mama, and Baby Bear arrive home to encounter another "trespasser," who does not have golden hair but wears a red suit and leaves presents. Someone has eaten the three bears' gingerbread cookies. Someone has sat in their chairs and slept in their beds, too. Youngsters can pick out the hidden clues left throughout the house to find out who left presents under the tree.
