OCPL Participates in Men's Health Expo

WHEELING, WV - The Ohio County Public Library joined The Health Plan, Wheeling Health Right, YWCA Wheeling and many other organizations in participating in the Men's Health Expo on Saturday, May 7, 2022. The event, which was the first such event, was held at Wheeling Park's J.B. Chambers Memorial Ice Rink. 

Attendees at the event were able to acquire valuable information related to men's health, including cancer screening information. The Ohio County Public Library provided information related to library programming and resources,
including digital resources, that promote lifelong learning for all community members. The event was an opportunity for many who had not been engaged with library activities in recent years to learn more about OCPL resources they may be able to utilize. 

In addition to valuable information, the event hosted the Dad Bod Olympics. Competitive (and comedic) competitions such as "Grocery Bag Carrying Racing" and "Christmas Light Untangling" were held.
