STORY TIME AT THE LIBRARY: The Perfect Spot

STORY TIME IS BACK AT THE LIBRARY! YAY!!!

August's theme is PICNICS! Our theme for the second week of August is the perfect picnic.

Story Time programs introduce young children to books, rhymes, songs, crafts, and other fun activities. Library Story Time incorporates the early literacy skills that children must master before they can learn to read. Story Times are designed for children 3-5 years old, though all ages are welcome. The program lasts approximately 45 minutes and caregivers are asked to participate with their children. Story Time is held in the Children's Department. This fall, Story Time will also be broadcast online, live, on Tuesdays at 10 am (see below for details).

Today's Book: The Perfect Spot by Diane Goode
Book Synopsis: A boy's plan to give his mother a perfect picnic in the park goes hilariously awry. Jack tries to have a perfect picnic with his mother, but things do not turn out as they expected. Readers will spot the little dog who's the cause of the mischief on every spread.

CAN'T MAKE IT IN PERSON? WATCH ONLINE!

This fall, This fall,  the Ohio County Public Library Children’s Department has planned Toddler Times and Story Times both in-person at the Ohio County Public Library and virtually! Toddler Time videos can be watched live on Mondays at 10:30. Story Time videos can be watched live on Tuesdays at 10.
