Library Not Accepting Return Materials for Duration of Closure

Coronavirus COVID-19 Library Action Plan Update (3/16/20):
As of Monday, March 16th, we will not be accepting the return of Library materials. Please keep the materials checked out on your account with you at home until we are able to reopen. All late fees will be waived for the duration of our closure and fines will not accrue on your materials.

The safety and well-being of our staff and patrons are our primary concern. Due to concerns over the potential spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Ohio County Public Library has been closed until further notice, effective Sunday, March 15th.

All Library events, classes, and public meeting room reservations are canceled until further notice.

We encourage you to frequently check for updates on this rapidly changing public health issue via our website, our smartphone app (OCPL Connect – available on iPhones and Android devices), and our Facebook page.

In the meantime, we invite everyone to explore everything we have to offer on our website, www.ohiocountylibrary.org. The Ohio County Public Library offers remote access to resources for all ages 24/7, including e-books, audiobooks, magazines, video (including movies, TV, concerts, lectures, etc.), music, and streaming tutorials.
