Lunch With Books Historic Warwood Program Streamed Live on Facebook

Posted 06/14/17

For the first time ever, Lunch With Books at the Ohio County Public Library was streamed live on Facebook, June 13, 2017. For anyone who could not attend PreserveWV Americorps member Christina Rieth's "Virtual Walking Tour of Historic Warwood" program, the full-length presentation (48 mins) can be viewed below.

Rieth, who's historical research position is hosted by Wheeling Heritage and funded by the AmeriCorps Federal Program through the Preservation Alliance of West Virginia, has been researching the history and architecture of Wheeling's Warwood neighborhood since she moved to Wheeling in September. Christina did an outstanding job! She will lead a guided walking tour in Warwood Saturday, June 24 at noon. The tour will begin at the Dorsch House at 1100 Warwood Avenue, head down Route 2, and finish at the Warwood Tool Company at the end of N. 19th St. Those planning to attend the June 24 guided walking tour are asked to park in the Warwood Shopping Center.
