Holiday Closings at the Ohio County Public Library
The Ohio County Public Library closes annually on the following dates:*
➤ New Year's Eve (Dec. 31)
➤ New Year's Day (January 1)
➤ Martin Luther King's Birthday (third Monday of January)
➤ Presidents Day (third Monday in February)
➤ Memorial Day (last Monday of May)
➤ West Virginia Day (June 20)
➤ Independence Day (July 4)
➤ Labor Day (first Monday of September)
➤ Veterans Day (November 11)
➤ Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday of November)
* NOTE: The Library closes at 5 pm on the Wednesday of Thanksgiving Eve.
➤ Christmas Eve (December 24)
➤ Christmas Day (December 25)
NOTE: The Library will also be closed the following dates.
➤ Saturday, December 26, 2020
➤ Saturday, January 2, 2020
* When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed as the official holiday.
